  • Not sure how much time you’ll need? You can:

  • Find a spot in my calendar and book online. Or send an email to anna@annarogan.com for alternative payment plans and invoicing.

  • I’ll send you a briefing questionnaire so we can get your thoughts, ideas and knowledge out of your brain and onto paper. 

    Before your booking, I’ll pour over your answers, read through your background materials, stalk your social media posts, podcast appearances (and basically anywhere else you show up online) and take a look at your industry and peers. 

    All of that gorgeous prep means my brain has a headstart on your project before we even start.

  • We kick off your booking with a video call to go over your briefing and plan your time with me.

    Most clients and projects only require an initial call together. Afterwards, you’re free to do other things while I whip up your copy.

    Occasionally a project will require more intense strategic work or a client will prefer a more hands-on approach. If that’s the case, during the initial call we’ll line up our schedules to keep the collaboration going.

    No matter how we work it, during your booked hours you get my brain totally dedicated to you. No juggling multiple clients and projects. No distractions. All attention on you.

    I’ll give you access to the document I’m working from so you can jump in anytime and answer questions, give feedback and check out the action. And I’ll provide you with plenty of updates along the way, too.

  • When I get to the heart of your project I’ll check in to make sure I’m on the right track.

    At this stage, you’ll get access to the Google Doc I’m working on plus a full video walkthrough explaining my strategy and thinking.

    You can comment directly in the document or we can get back together for a call to go over your thoughts, feedback and comments.

    From this point, you’ll be able to jump into the project any time and answer questions, give feedback or just check out how things are progressing.

    I’ll also provide you with plenty of updates along the way, too.

  • When I’m all done you get to enjoy the instant gratification (and relief) of receiving completed work unburdened by long timelines, endless emails and brain-zapping back-and-forths.

HOW LONG WILL I NEED?

How long you need depends on a couple of things— am I writing from scratch or am I taking existing copy and giving it a nip n tuck? Am I helping you strategise your idea, product, brand voice or service offerings before writing the copy or are you crystal clear? Are we including coaching to help you hone your skills or would you prefer to leave it all to me?

The info here is a guide for what I can achieve in the time you book. Remember, you're buying my time and not a set deliverable, but rest assured it's in BOTH our best interests that what I share below is pretty darn reliable!

It’s not because I’m some superhuman copywriter with lightning-fast typing fingers (although I do work quick). I’ve just figured out a way to structure things so that when I’m writing for you

FAQS

  • No stress, email me at anna@annarogan.com or book a free 30-minute zoom call and we’ll work it out together.

  • I sometimes have a little wriggle room in my calendar (especially for returning clients because I’m already familiar with your brand). So if you don’t see a date that works, get in touch and I’ll see what I can do.

  • I’m usually super spot on with estimating how long a job will take, but I also recommend having a list of copy stuffs you need done (like workshopping blog post ideas, creating social media posts, writing a couple of your regular emails or tightening up your email welcome sequence) ready to go. That way, if I’m all done with your main project before the time is up I can move onto the next thing on your list.

  • You can always book in more! And if your project is urgent and we don’t get through absolutely everything during your booking I’ll do my best to free up some time in my schedule so you can book me in ASAP.

  • It depends on what you want to get out of it.

    Want to leave the writing to me? I’ll check in with progress reports and questions that pop up while I’m working so it’s good if you’re around to answer those but I don’t expect you to be chained to your desk.

    Want copy coaching or need to work through your service offerings or core brand messaging? You’ll need to be available to collaborate with me for at least some of the session. We’ll work out exactly how long I’ll need you (and when) before your booking.

  • Yes! If I’m writing your website copy or blog posts and SEO is an important part of your marketing strategy I’ll write Google-friendly meta titles, descriptions, headings and copy for you. I can also arrange to get your SEO research done before we kick off by a specialist SEO analyst (at an additional cost) if you need help understanding which keywords to target.

  • Yes! I love copywriters and have worked with more than a few (we’re an awesome bunch). And I know that if you’re working as a solo operator or freelancer you’re probably writing copy without the benefit of throwing ideas around with a team or getting feedback from an editor. If you’re looking for that kind of support, I’m here for you!

  • The questionnaire includes stuff around your business and goals, your brand voice, purpose and values, who your audience is, what your biggest copy challenges are and what you’d like to tackle in your booking. Also, specific questions about the content we are working on.

    Yep, it’s long and in-depth. You don’t have to have all the answers and they definitely don’t have to be perfectly formed in writing (I know that’s probably why you’re looking to work with a copywriter). But the more thorough your brief, the better I’ll be able to help you and the faster I’ll get through your work.

  • I highly recommend working out the strategic foundations for your business like your purpose, values, USP and goals before you tackle your copy. We can’t write what isn’t there. Or rather, whatever we write will be based on assumptions and guesswork instead of real clarity and understanding. It could hit the mark or it could need a rewrite once you’ve worked out the strategic stuff.

    I can help you work through some of this in our session if that’s what you need. I have a heck of a lot of insight and know-how to share, but I’m not a business coach or branding expert. If that’s what you’re looking for I highly recommend Craft Coaching and Development or The Listening Squad.

  • Yep, I reckon I can. I’d be structuring your time to take a gander at your analytics and audit your copy to pinpoint what the something is. Then I’d be working out actionable steps to change it before moving on to the writing.
