With more than a decade of experience in big banks and state government, I take the tactics that work for the top end of town and translate them to strategies that work for the little guys with heart.
I earned my career chops as a communications manager at NAB. Six years there covered all.the.things. Media, PR, reputation management, leadership comms, employee comms, change comms, brand work, content strategy, digital communications. Phew!
I switched to state government for a once-in-a-career opportunity to launch a brand new statutory body in the mental health space. I was a one-stop comms shop managing (as in, working out the strategy then executing on every detail) brand strategy, annual reports, events, social media strategy, stakeholder comms and marketing collateral. It was a big job.
I also juggled an advisory board position with Melbourne social enterprise, Lentil as Anything and ongoing volunteering with the Salvation Army’s Melbourne food van.
Now I help businesses and organisations of all shapes and sizes with my wordy skills.

I’m overly-enthusiastic and just a little bit mischievous. But also ambitious, driven and organised. I have spreadsheets for every scenario and arrive twenty minutes early for every appointment. Leslie Knope is my spirit animal.

I have two littles and a serious reading habit. Both of which keep my non-working hours busy.

My do good
I donate 1% of my business profits to Australian Literacy and Numeracy Foundation (ALNF) who work to raise literacy levels in the most marginalised communities in Australia. They help preserve and revitalise endangered Indigenous languages and they support all Australian children to read, write, learn and participate fully in society.
I donate to ALNF because I genuinely believe that education is one of the most powerful tools we have to transform the world and solve the complex, global problems of our time.
And because reading has changed my life. It has given me freedom and escape during challenging times. It has opened doors to new worlds and people and knowledge. And it has set me up to have a healthy, fulfilling and successful career.
