What’s it going to cost?

Nearly every copywriting project is different, so every quote will be different.

That's why lots of copywriters don’t publish their rates online. I think that’s fair enough. But I also think it’s a bit annoying if you’re trying to figure out your project budget.

So, here are a few of my standard jobs to give you an idea of what working with me might cost. Just keep in mind if you have tight timelines or need weekend work there may be additional fees applied.


A couple of things you should know

I have a $525 minimum project fee. Why $525? Well, that’s half a day of my time. And I work best when I have a nice chunk dedicating to working on just one thing. I find working in half- or full-day (or even week-long) blocks on one project gets the best outcomes.

I generally have a 4 - 6 week wait time to get started on projects.


Content or BRAND VOICE strategy

Let’s get really clear on what your content needs to achieve and what your brand really stands for.

You get:

  • Core content strategy

  • Brand basics (vision, mission, values)

  • Brand personality (what makes you, uniquely you)

  • Audience insights (who they are and what they want)

  • Competitor analysis (their strengths and weaknesses)

  • Content themes (what to say)

  • Tone of voice (how to say it)


Awesome-sauce website copy

Website copy that makes an impact, helps readers feel like they’re part of the club and gets lookie-loos buying.

You get:

  • Briefing and research

  • SEO-ready web copy in a designer/developer friendly file

  • Title and meta descriptions for each page

  • 2 rounds of edits


Dip your toe in website audit

Half- or full-day bookings

My brain, your projects, a half- or full-day of glorious collaboration.

Good if you:

  • Don’t have a huge budget for conversion copywriting but you need professional help (under-performing sales pages I’m lookin’ at you)

  • Have a bunch of smaller bits and pieces that need to be done but that don’t fit neatly into a project plan (social media posts, copy editing blogs etc).

You get:

  • Half-day 3.5 hours

  • Full-day 6 hours

  • Full access to my knowledge and skills, totally uninterrupted

  • My advice on whatever you’ve got going on

  • Me working on almost anything you need. I mean, within reason, you’ll get the most bang for your buck if you use this time to get me working on your content. Not showing up at your best friend’s workplace with a home cooked lasagna because it’s her birthday and she loves lasagna.


Something else

I do other things, too. Email sequences, award entries, book editing, lost dog posters. Tell me what you need and I’ll create a package just for you.
